“Happiness Comes” was born at a very pivotal time in my life.   Focusing on living and enjoying life is something that I have been working on over this past year.  It is something that I have nurtured and cherished and learned from.  Thanks in a large part to my shared space with Heather at We Deserve This and recognizing, reflecting, and enjoying things of importance to me at my old home, Adirondack Mama.

In fact, if Adirondack Mama and We Deserve This had a baby…“Happiness Comes” would be it.

I am not deleting Adirondack Mama , but I will not be writing there any more.  I DO love that space.  It is where I got my footing in blogland and where I came to know so many friends which I hope will follow me to here (please update your subscription or reader if you were a follower of mine).  And I will be at We Deserve This for as long as Heather and I keep finding moments to exhale.

This space has been in the works for about a month now.  I have been hemming and hawing over when to launch it.   Unsure of how to go from 280 posts down to ZERO. 

That is a scary thing.

Today just felt like a good day.

It’s not the first time.

And it most certainly won’t be the last.

A fresh space.

A clean slate.

Less clutter.

Still crafty.

Still sharp.

Still honest.

Maybe a touch more optimism.

A focus on the good in the new year.
